Mike Myers is a Western Michigan based wood turner, and woodworker specializing in food related wood decor. He crafts cutting boards, charcuterie boards, bowls, platters, and rolling pins and strives to use locally sourced wood, and minimal natural finishes.
Artist Statement:
"Myers Wood Turning was founded in 2018. My focus is to craft useful, functional, value added, and beautiful wood for your home and kitchen. I am particularly inspired by food and cooking so much of my work focuses on items that will enhance your cooking , food presentation, and entertaining experience. I feel that wood adds nature, warmth, and energy to your home.
As much as possible I utilize local wood, from local suppliers and mills, and I employ clean, food safe oil finishes to all of my work. I look forward to making an heirloom quality piece for your home, kitchen, or as a gift."
