PBJ's range of furniture is developed with respect for nature, and with a focus on doing their best to incorporate sustainability into all processes. The selection of wood, used in PBJ manufacturing, is always of the best quality. This means that the wood must have the correct humidity levels, fewest possible knots, and of course come from state approved forestry. The reason for producing furniture with veneered surfaces is twofold. Firstly, it reduces the use of solid timber whereby conserving the natural resources. Secondly, the chipboard or MDF that the veneerer is applied onto is made from recycled wood which is better for the environment while still ensuring a strong and high-quality surface.
