PilgrimWaters is the husband-and-wife design studio of Susy Pilgrim Waters and Keith Waters, creating handcrafted scarves, fine textiles, and functional home goods. Working from Susy's original designs and artwork, they collaborate with highly skilled artisans in Nepal and India to produce small-batch textiles and craft a limited collection of hand-printed, custom woodcraft in our Gloucester, Massachusetts, workshop. Every piece is thoughtfully integrated to bring lasting beauty, utility, and authentic craftsmanship to everyday life.

Rooted in Susy's decades of success as a prominent Boston-area commercial illustrator and designer, her creative practice laid the groundwork for PilgrimWaters. In 2012, the studio took a dynamic leap forward when Keith joined the practice — marrying Susy's organic, hand-drawn art with his love for physical structure and custom woodcraft. Over the following years, Susy and Keith expanded the business to wholesale customers and grew our online retail presence. Keith brings dimensionality to PilgrimWaters, pairing Susy's bold artwork with fine woodcraft to create small, hand-finished batches of custom-printed trays and functional home accents. Susy continues her commercial illustration work across a wide range of projects—for example, Caffè Nero's signage in and around Boston.
