Description
The most famous Dala Horses are made in the villages around Mora,
Sweden, especially Nusnäs, in the province of Dalarna in central Sweden.
Through the years the hand-carved and hand-painted Dala Horse has
become a symbol of authentic Swedish handicraft and one of Sweden's most
popular souvenirs. These Dala Horses are made at the Grannas A Olsson
Hemslöjd or the Nils Olsson Hemslöjd in Nusnäs.
These horses are hand-carved and painted so individual horses may vary slightly in pattern, shape, or size.
