Thumbnail Filmstrip of Artifact Puzzles - Erin Hanson LAYERS OF AFTERNOON Wooden Jigsaw Puzzle Images
Description
This is a 287 piece puzzle of "Layers of Afternoon" by Erin Hanson. This is a split tendril connector puzzle and is kind-of hard:
many pieces have almost but not quite exactly the same shape, so be prepared to pay careful attention to their cut and the art to
solve this. The puzzle design is by Ashley Boyd and includes a modest number of active whimsies. Overall, we rate this as "kind-of hard"
- but not "really hard."
Like all Artifact puzzles, made with 1/4" thick wood and the pieces are laser-cut. Packaged in a standard pine wood box. Made in the USA (specifically, in Fremont, California).

Vendor Info
Founded in 2009 as an experiment in the economics of micro-manufacturing, Artifact Puzzles is an artisanal puzzle company that designs, makes, and sells artsy laser-cut wooden jigsaw puzzles. Based in Menlo Park, CA, just south of San Francisco, they produce puzzles using environmentally-friendly plywood and soy-based inks.Artifact Puzzles offers two lines of puzzles. The standard line has bright glossy prints that are maximally cheery, and reveal the unique puzzle designs. The newer Ecru line of puzzles has matte prints that reduce glare, and closer-cut pieces that do not highlight the puzzle design as well, but better display the puzzle's image.
With puzzles that span a diverse collection of art that literally puts you in touch with past, present, and imagined civilizations, their artists design a unique puzzle for every image, each design inspired by that image, to add charm and challenge to the puzzle experience.
We hope you find Artifact Puzzles a rewarding way to relax and connect with friends and family.
