Description
The Corona Chair is an eye-catching and experimental take on Danish design. A stringent design with elliptically shaped, upholstered seat pads descending in size. It’s an intriguing approach that challenges conventional seating, resulting in Corona’s image as a design icon coveted the world over. The name Corona was supposedly inspired by time-lapse photographs of a solar eclipse and its surrounding corona, the outermost part of the Sun's atmosphere. It has also been said that the inspiration came from the human spine's shape, strength and flexibility. This furniture is designed with separate, interchangeable components which can be renewed, sorted and recycled, anywhere in the world, in case of unexpected damage. The Fredericia leather used for this furniture is tanned in Italy or Sweden using only European livestock. Selected leathers are available with full Spoor documentation, from farm to furniture.Specifications
