DESIGN QUEST FURNITURE DESIGN COMPETITION - Thursday, March 18, 2010
Entries of original furniture designs in the form of drawings, scale models, prototypes, or photos of
prototypes, may be submitted anytime, to Design Quest, up to February 14, 2010. Entrants will be notified of their
acceptance by February 19th, 2010. There is no limit on material, number of entries per designer, or type of
furniture. However, the furniture must function as furniture. Furniture accepted for the exhibit must be
delivered no later than Thursday, March 11, 2010.
Opening reception will be on Thursday, March 18, 2010, 6 to 8 pm, at Design Quest, with live music and
refreshments. People's Choice judging will take place between 6:30 and 7:30 pm, during the opening reception.
Awards will be handed out immediately after.
- Grand Prize* - $1000.00
- Second prize - $500.00
- Third prize - $300.00
- People's choice prize - $200.00
*Only physical entries, finished pieces and prototypes are eligible for the Grand Prize.
The exhibit will be on display until Sunday, May 2, 2010. Designers are responsible for the delivery and removal of their
entries. If unpacking and packing assistance is needed contact us. Design Quest will cover property insurance on each entry while
it is at Design Quest.
