Mikaela Dörfel created this unusual tea service in 1993 combining porcelain
and stainless steel. Clearly defined lines, a high degree of functionality and
some noteworthy details: the teapot handle, which holds the lid in place
when pouring, the precisely fitting strainer insert, and the cantilevered
teapot warmer with the elevated candle. The teacups are stackable, with
the metal ring serving as stacking guide.
The Gemini Teapot has a stay-cool stainless steel handle and is
dishwasher safe but not designed for microwave, stovetop or oven use.
