The Titania by Luceplan is an icon in the lamping industry. The elliptical
outer casing, composed of aluminum-finish blades, simultaneously
diffuses and reflects light and dissipates heat. The Titania assumes
a different appearance depending on its viewing angle: transparent if seen
head on, solid when seen from the side.
The Titania includes an array of easily interchangeable colored filters that change
the body color without altering the dispersion of light. A spherical
counterweight enables up-down adjustment and can be inserted or
removed at any time. Titania is a dynamic and surprising lamp, suitable for
a wide variety of settings. Thanks to its very light aluminium body, it can
be hung from plaster, wood or sloping ceilings. Filter colors are yellow, green,
blue, violet and red.
